I am a former register nurse who knows the value of cleanliness and germ control. I am also the mother of three wonderful boys who have made it into adulthood. I wish I had known more about natural cleaning for a Healthy Home because I feel that we all carry the impact of our cleaning mistakes for years into the future. I have taken time to organize what really works, and I have become a serious advocate for Natural Green Clean ingredients.
Better yet, going to natural green cleaning is not difficult, and you you will save a ton of money over a year's time. I feel that many homes and businesses are like living in a kind of toxic cloud that the EPA says is 2 to 5 time worse than the outside air. We spend 90% of our time indoors, and we literally carry into our homes hundreds of pounds of caustic, toxic, and deadly chemicals that are killing us. There is a better way to clean your home, and it is easy once you know how.
I have spent hundreds of hours researching the good and bad ideas to boil everything down to twelve basic items that do it all. You could do the same, but I warn you that it is confusing. I found that the Internet is full of information, but it is complex, disorganized and often misleading. My association with the Green Clean Institute (training professional cleaners nationwide) allows us to offer this information as a valid certification course for homemakers. I think it is time that we had some of the same professional training and support that professionals deserve.

I also felt that it was time to take HomeMaking to a more recognized level. I hope you will take the exam at the end of the book and fax it to the Green Clean Institute. They are the nation's largest Green Clean training certification, and they issue a wonderful certificate.
