Tea Tree Oil For a Healthy Home

Tea tree oil falls in the category of an essential oil.  Like many of these amazing oils, there is often a medicinal benefit to their use.  Tea Tree oil is a great essential oil and can be used in very small qualities.

Tea tree oil can be applied to skin or household surface as a disinfectant. One idea is to replace bleach as a disinfectant in your home.  Make your own disinfectant by mixing 2 cups of water, 3 tablespoons of liquid soap and 20 to 30 drops of tea tree oil. It's easy!

If you read up on tea tree oil, you will find that it kills mold, germs, and bacteria.  In it's pure form, it has a pungent odor; but so does bleach ... right?  Mix tea tree oil with other ingredients to get the benefit without the smell.
Orange and lemon oil are some of the best oils to leave a fresh smell.  If you aren't excited about the vinager smell, orange and lemon will change your mind about natural products.
